POE Mitsui Chemicals DF810
POE Mitsui Chemicals DF810
POE Mitsui DF810 is a highly‑transparent polyolefin elastomer with excellent low‑temperature resistance, toughening performance and process flowability. It is ideal for applications requiring improved toughness, transparency and food‑contact compliance, especially for plastic modification and high‑end packaging.
Main Applications
Plastic Modification: Primarily used as toughener to enhance impact resistance of PP and PE. Wire & Cable: Insulation and sheaths for high heat‑resistance & environmental‑resistance requirements, suitable for low‑smoke zero‑halogen flame‑retardant compounds. Packaging Materials: High transparency and food‑contact compliance for food‑packaging films, cosmetic & food hoses. Footwear & Foamed Articles: Foamed midsoles and outsoles for sports shoes.

Processing Guidelines
- Applicable processes:injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, foaming and other conventional thermoplastic processing.
- Narrow molecular‑weight distribution, good flowability and good compatibility with polyolefins; improves filler dispersion and weld‑line strength.
- Blending recommendation: For PP/PE toughening, POE loading ≤20 %. Higher POE content improves impact and elongation but reduces tensile & flexural strength and modulus.
- MFR of blend rises with POE addition; MFR barely changes above 15 phr POE.
- Additives: Antioxidants, softeners, fillers and colorants may be added as required. Sprues & scraps are recyclable; recycle fraction ≤30 % is recommended.
